Despite being Scotland’s largest city, Glasgow is often overlooked by tourists in favour of the capital city. However, in doing so, people are really missing out!
Home to over 600’000 people and 5 universities, the City of Glasgow has a complex history and even played a huge part in the industrial revolution. Everything from steam boats to cash machines and even the television we can be thankful to Glasgow for! It also helps that while areas may have a rougher exterior, Glasgow is actually a beautiful and an extremely friendly city. The locals pride themselves on being always happy to lend a hand, leading to the city’s adopted moniker “PEOPLE MAKE GLASGOW”!
