Prague is a place that hides a lot of interesting attractions, but this time we have prepared a list of 5 that you must see. You won’t read about some of them in typical guidebooks!
Apart from being one of the most beautiful libraries if not the most in the world the Municipal Library of Prague is one of the largest libraries in Prague, Czech Republic. The oldest item in the library’s collections is a print of the Prague Bible from 1488. But that’s rarely the reason for visitors’ curiosity.

The Municipal Library of Prague is home to the infamous infinity book sculpture called Idiom. Created by Slovak artist Matej Krén in 1998 the sculpture consists of thousands of books stacked on top of each other which makes it look like a tower. There’s also a tear-shaped opening in the side that allows you to take a stirring look inside the tower 📚🗼
Paternoster lifts in Prague are a charming throwback to a bygone era. These quirky, continuous-loop elevators are a bit like a vertical conveyor belt for people, and they’re a unique experience you won’t want to miss.

You can find one of these delightful contraptions in the New Town Hall building, right in the heart of Prague. Just a heads up, though – these lifts don’t stop moving, so you’ll need to hop on and off swiftly. It’s all part of the fun! 🏰🕰️
DOX is a hub for cutting-edge exhibitions, showcasing local and international talent that’ll leave you inspired, baffled, and maybe a bit awestruck. Plus, the industrial-chic vibe of the building adds a cool touch to the whole experience.

Aside from the mind-bending contemporary art installations that will make you ponder the meaning of life (in a good way, of course), there’s this fascinating structure called “Gulliver.” It’s like a giant, creepy baby sculpture with a TV screen for a face. So, if you’re up for a dose of the unexpected and want to dive into the contemporary art scene in Prague, DOX is your spot🎨🏢
Prague’s passages are a visual feast. The architecture, the atmosphere, the variety, and the hundreds of odd and quirky shops will enchant you. What’s more, walking through them is of course completely free unless you pass by ice cream shops you cannot resist!

Svetozor Passage is like a hidden time capsule in the heart of Prague. But here’s the real scoop – it’s not just about the nostalgia; it’s also a fantastic spot to indulge your sweet tooth. With delightful ice cream parlors, you can treat yourself while basking in the vintage atmosphere. It’s a perfect blend of past and present, with a sprinkle of sweetness on top!

This Art Deco time capsule is not a mere walkway. Lucerna Passage is a cultural hub. It houses the legendary Lucerna Cinema, a cinematic haven where film buffs can soak in the magic of carefully curated movies. 📽️
Whether you’re a Kafka aficionado or just curious about quirky art with deep meanings, this eleven-metre-high statue is a must-visit. The 21st-century technical marvel of Prague consists of forty-two moving panels forming the face of the great Czech writer Franz Kafka.

The statue isn’t just there for kicks on Instagram (but let’s be real, it does make a great photo-op); it’s a symbol-rich masterpiece. The headless figure represents existential angst and the struggles of human existence – classic Kafka! 📚🗿
