Did you manage to grab the Oasis concert tickets? Lucky you! But that’s just a start; you must still plan your trip. Here’s our guide on how to do that, particularly when booking the hotel for your Oasis concert. Read on to find out more!
When should you book your Oasis concert accommodation? What places should you look at? Here are some of our tips!
Did you see how fast the Oasis concert tickets sold out? The same will happen with hotels the moment people start thinking about making more detailed plans. Thus, you can’t wait: you should immediately start booking your Oasis concert accommodation! This way, you’ll have more choices and better prices.
It’s highly unlikely that you’ll find a hotel near your Oasis concert venue. This is why you should plan the location carefully. Instead of looking at just the distance, pay attention to the transportation options, namely:
Remember that crowds of Oasis fans will pour out of the venue after the concert, so you need to secure a hotel to which you can return despite all of that.
Most people don’t like sleeping in shared rooms, but perhaps this is the option. After all, you don’t need to take much with you for the concert, so it might be wise not to pack any valuables and cut costs by staying in a hostel vs. a hostel.
Do you have tickets for the Oasis concert in Edinburgh? Then you can stay at Safestay! We can offer you two hostels:
Our Edinburgh hostel is in the perfect location for the Oasis concert. All you have to do is walk only 6 minutes to the South Bridge bus stop, catch a bus (line: 30), and get to the Murrayfield Stadium stop. Voila, you’re at your venue in more or less 30 minutes.
And if you don’t mind walking, you can get there even faster. You’ll just need to walk 0,5 miles to the Princes Street tram stop, catch the Edinburgh Airport Tram and get off at the Murrayfield Stadium stop—it should take approximately 24 minutes.
Our hostel in Glasgow is located only 2 minutes from the Charing Cross train station. From there, it takes only about 1.5 hours to get to the Edinburgh Oasis concert venue. That’s why we recommend it as an alternative option, either if you start booking too late and there is nothing reasonable left in Edinburgh or want to explore Scotland before/after the concert.
Our hostels in London will also be a great option for your Oasis concert. We’ve got two of them in the capital city of England: let’s look at them now.
This hostel in London might not be in the perfect location for reaching the concert venue, but it’s excellent for touring the city. So, if you’re planning to sightsee before/after the concert, we highly recommend it. How much does it take to get to Wembley from here? Well, it takes about 1 hour, and you’ll need to change buses, trams or tube lines on your way.
It might still take you about an hour to get to Wembley from the Kensington Holland Park hostel, but it’s much easier. You don’t need to change; just hop on the Southern line and go to Wembley Central. You might need to walk from there (or grab a different line), but even if you do, it should take you no more than 53 minutes.
You have all the tips and recommendations you need to secure your Oasis concert hotel, so… get down to it! The faster you start, the higher your chances of finding good accommodations, so don’t wait; do it now!
