A valid photo ID such as passport, national identity cards, driver's licence, national military service card, etc is required at check-in. Please note that student Cards are not accepted as valid ID.
Check-in is from 2pm at Safestay London Holland Park. All of our hostels are open 24 hours a day, 7 days week. You must check-out before 10:00am as late check-outs will incur a charge. If you’re arriving early you’re welcome to store your luggage in one of our luggage rooms or safety deposit boxes.
You will be charged a non-refundable deposit of 10% of your total stay when you book with us online. For email and phone bookings we require valid credit card details to guarantee your booking.
Cancellations must be made 24hrs prior to arrival either by e-mail or telephone. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of the cost of the first night.
Safestay welcomes all guests and unlike some of our competitors we do not require guests to be members of any organisation in order to enjoy our facilities and services. Guests staying with Safestay must be 18 years or over or must be accompanied by someone 18 years or over.
Guests under the age of 18 are only permitted to stay in private rooms or shared rooms that are booked for the sole use of one family or a group of persons booked together and must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 18. Any person between the age of 16 and 18 years must be accompanied by an adult (over 18) staying in the same room or dormitory.
Yes, bed linen is included and beds are made prior to arrival.
Our private twin, double and triple rooms have towels included. Towels are available at all hostels for an additional fee. Please contact the individual hostels for more information.
Breakfast is not included in the price but is available for an additional £4 in advance or £5 on the day and available between 7:00 and 9:30am.
Yes! We offer 100% FREE Wi-Fi in communal areas and have free Wi-Fi throughout the building. Internet terminals are also available at an hourly rate.
You must check-out of your room by 10:00am, but you may still use the cafe facilities and lounge areas throughout the day. Late check-outs will incur a charge of an additional night.
There is no curfew; you can enter and leave as you please.
The clue is in the name. Safestay understands the need for guests to feel safe and secure. To that end all our hostels are staffed 24hrs a day and access is controlled using Electronic Key cards. We have CCTV throughout each building and each bed comes with its own locker, for safe storage of your valuables.
Yes, food offering varies between hostels, but in Safestay London Holland Park our cafe has a variety of food options available.
Unfortunately we do not have a licensed bar at Safestay Holland Park.

We encourage families to stay with us and take advantage of either our multi-bedded dorms or our 2 bedded or 3 bedded private rooms. We do not allow families with children aged 18yrs and under to share dorms with other guests, therefore all beds in a multi-bedded dorm must be booked and paid for in order to make these rooms private for families.
Smoking is strictly forbidden on all Safestay premises. However, we do have a designated outdoor heated smoking area available.
We accept credit card or cash. We do not accept American Express or Laser Card.
Our nightly rates are so good that we don't have weekly or monthly rates.
Yes, we have coin operated washing and drying machines. Irons and ironing boards can also be borrowed from reception.
Yes, Safestay has a maximum stay policy of 14 days. You are welcome to come back to Safestay, but with a minimum 14 days rest period.
We're a 100% smoke-free environment. So please follow our no-smoking rules - there's a £250 fine per night for anyone lighting up inside the hostel.

Yes. All rooms and entrances to our properties are secured with key card access only. Each hostel has a 24-hour manned reception supported by a CCTV system. All dorms have lockers, you can bring your own padlock or purchase one for £3.50 at reception.
We are independent, so you don't need to be a member of any organisation or show a hostel card to stay.
Yes. When you book your group in through our group reservations department we guarantee that nobody else will be staying in your room.
Due to the unique design and composition of our buildings we can’t always guarantee that groups will be accommodated on the same floor as this will depend on the layout of the building and type of rooms you have chosen. We will of course do our best to accommodate you as close as possible, if you have any concerns about room configuration our Group Reservations department will be happy to discuss these with you.
Our hostels have a mixture of en-suite and standard rooms. If you have a preference please specify when liaising with the Group Reservation team.
Yes and thanks to our city centre locations, 24hr receptions and great social spaces our hostels are ideal for school groups.
Yes. We have large open spaces that have been designed for groups to meet and relax, so you won't feel over-crowded.
The bunk beds at Safestay are very comfortable and all bed linen is provided. The majority of beds are fitted with privacy curtains and a personal night-light, allowing you to have a relaxing night's sleep.

We have a wide variety of room sizes, including 2-33 bunk dorm rooms, as well as twin bunks and private double rooms complete with their own tea and coffee facilities, towels and a 40 inch TV. En-suite and standard dorm rooms range from 4 to 33 beds.
Due to the unique design of our buildings shower facilities vary across our properties. The majority of our rooms, including dormitories come with en-suite facilities. The small number of rooms without facilities have access to ample bathrooms off the corridors.
Parties of 10 or more can receive a 10% discount, 15% for groups of more than 50. See our Group Bookings page for details.
Yes. Lobbies and communal areas come complete with free Wi-Fi, the majority of hostels also have Wi-Fi access in the rooms. We also have computer and Internet rooms that can be used for a small cost.
