1. South West Four
Location: Clapham Common, London
Dates: 29-30th August 2020
What?
The best way to spend your bank holiday in August is to spend it at South West Four. DJing legend Carl Cox has referred to as ‘the crowning glory’.
The two-day festival will be held in Clapham Common and will be filled with the best EDM, house, techno, drum and bass and grime music.
Rumour has it that 2020 will have the biggest lineup South West Four has ever put forward. Previous festivals have hosted world-class DJs such as Marshmellow, Sasha, Fatboy Slim, Paul Van Dyk and Skrillex as headline acts. 2019 is the year for South West Four.

Getting to South West Four is very straightforward
Train
For those that take the Underground, simply take the Northern Line to Clapham common. Clapham Common closes at 9 pm in the night and the nearest underground station will be Clapham South (8 minutes walk) or Clapham Junction (25-minute walk)

2. Awakenings Festival
Location: Gashouder Amsterdam, Netherlands
Dates: 27-28th June 2020
What?
Awakenings has been putting on festivals since the year 2000! They have become so popular that any techno fan that hasn’t heard of this festival is not a true techno fan. With over 80,000 visitors in a weekend you best pencil in Awakenings Festival in your calendar.
There are over 100 DJ’s playing at this festival which includes DJ guru’s Carl Cox, Adam Beyer, Nina Kraviz, Loco Dice and more. The popular Sven Väth, Chris Liebing and Berghain residents Ben Klock and Marcel Dettman will be putting on great performances with great features such as pyrotechnics and fireworks. This is not one to miss!

3. Love International
Location: Tisno, Croatia

Love International 2020 is set in Tisno, Croatia. It is continuing the legacy created by ‘The Garden Festival’, and is now creating its own unique magic in Croatia. This festival goes for a whole week giving you a nice little break away from home to enjoy both the music and the country!

4. Sónar Barcelona

Sónar is “positioned at the cutting edge of the electronic music landscape” as they gather famous artists with emerging ones to perform in one of Barcelona’s most popular festivals.
There is also cool events, such as Sónar+D, designed for various creative communities, providing development sessions and opportunities to exchange ideas and tools perfect for anyone who is seeking some inspiration in the industry!
Sónar Barcelona events are divided into two main locations:
– Sónar by Day, located in Fira Montjuïc, offers concerts and DJ’s and is when and where Sónar+D is held.
– Sónar by Night, located at the Fira Gran Via de L’Hospitalet, hosts live performances and DJ sets from the best names in international music.

8. Riverside Festival Glasgow

9. We Are FSTVL 2020!
Location: Damyns Hall Aerodrome, Upminster

The 5-time award winning festival is back!

10. A Summer Story

12. Time Warp

Not many festivals can say they have been around for 25 years but Time Warp is one of them. And they have been giving you the best techno music for all those years!
Time Warp’s lineup always contains top class DJs, producers and electronic artists. 13. Weekend festival Finland 2020

Weekend Festival is an EDM, techno festival held in Helsinki, Finland. Started in 2012 it now hosts over 40,000 visitors who all love techno music! You’ll certainly be in the right atmosphere to enjoy the great music!

14. FLY Open Air 2020
Location: Hopetoun House, Queensferry, South Queensferry EH30 9RW

What?
FLY set up a range of large electronic music festivals across Edinburgh. FlyOpen is one of them and is held not once but twice a year! Mixmag says that FlyOpen is “A global contender on the festival circuit.” They are usually all held in unique locations of Edinburgh which helps bring the true nature of Edinburgh to the festival. This year’s festival will be held at the huge 17th century stately home – Hopetoun House! It will get you feeling like you’ve travelled back in time. I wonder if you’re allowed in!

16. Kappa FuturFestival 2020

18. Caprices Festival 2020

20. AVA Festival 2020

21. Berlin Atonal
Location: Kraftwerk, Berlin

This techno marathon is held inside the cavernous walls of the old power plant Kraftwerk, with afterparties running in the depths of Tresor below.
It showcases a diverse techno lineup from Wednesday through to Sunday, but combines it with workshops and exhibitions exploring the link between music, visual arts and technology… in case you get tired of the stomping.

22.Platform 18 Street Festival
Location: West Street, Glasgow

Glasgow’s favourite street rave returns with two days of first-rate house and techno. Platform 18 2019 really was something special. The street party will now be back July 2020, bigger, better with extra focus on making it more affordable for the ravers!

23. Sónar Athens

24. Revive Festival
