Everybody loves a Bank Holiday! A long weekend gives you much-needed rest from work and the much-needed time to spend your weekend properly! There are many events happening this 2019 during the bank holidays that you don’t want to miss. But which one do you go to? For that reason, we sat down and researched thoroughly to pick out out all the best Bank Holiday events happening in London 2019 just for you!
1. April Bank Holiday: 19th – 21st
Sounds Familia Music Quid Easter Special

This quiz is the biggest and best music quiz in the UK. It is held every week and it is always a sellout. For this Easter, they are hosting a special event! If you are a competitive individual you’ll be fired up from the start of this quiz. It is completely different from your standard pub quiz rather it is described as a ‘party disguised as a quiz’
There will be over 100 different songs filling up the whole room covering loads of genres over all the decades so get your vocal cords ready as you can’t help but sing along. There are prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and even last place so everyone’s practically a winner. After the quiz, the event turns into a club like night where people get dancing and start belting out all the tunes they’ve been listening to for the quiz.

DeadDrop hosts cool clue-based events that will get you to run your way around the coolest sites in London. Instead of being in a room you are thrown into the city of London and have to solve your clues by travelling around the city! You’ll be competing against others so make sure you’re quick!
This Easter, DeadDrop is hosting an adult only Easter egg hunt. This will be the only time where you can eat loads of chocolate and exercise it off at the same time! All the benefits with none of the consequences. You will have to follow several clues to find rendezvous points where you’ll discover an Easter bunny if you’re at the right spot. And of course, you get to eat it!

Buketrace Easter Hunt

BUCKETRACE have certainly got an amazing event planned in time for Easter! They have organised a scavenger race around London where teams will compete against each other by completing tasks on a ‘bucket list’. The idea behind this is to help people discover all the new places and hidden gems in London. There are some important rules you will have to follow if you do not want to get disqualified which can be found here.

What a way to spend your Sunday! On a BOAT! That’s right on the 5th of May there is a Reggae BOAT PARTY happening! Be ready for 4 hours of non-stop day vibes as we take you on a WAVEY journey of the river Thames. DJ Reiss Mx Lovin will commence the party as he takes you through a selection of tropical tracks from your favourite Reggae, Soca, Calypso, Reggaeton, Bashment, Afro, Soul, Ska & other Commercial artists.
The boat is 2 floors with a capacity of 400 and includes a fully stocked bar. Be sure to arrive there early than 3 pm as they will leave straight on 4 and you don’t want to miss out on this awesome party! Pick up is at North Greenwich Pier. There is also a free after party to Reggae Brunch Beach Club Party.

Margarita Rumble – Bottomless Margarita Festival
Margarita Rumble is pretty much a royal rumble of margaritas! More than 15 of the best bars and restaurants send their expert mixologists in to compete against each other so that one of their margaritas can be crowned the Best Margarita in London.
The best part of it all is that you get the deciding vote! You’ll get to Sample the best margaritas for free for a full 2 hours. Once you’re done enjoying all those delicious drinks you’ll then vote for your favourite one!
They are priced from £35 and there are two types of tickets: VIP and General Admission. The VIP tickets get you in an hour earlier which means you’ll get first dibs on all the drinks!

3. August Bank Holiday: 24th – 26th
South West 4
Location: Clapham Common, London
Dates: 24 Aug – 25 Aug 2019
This two-day festival falls perfectly on the August Bank Holiday giving you a day off to recover, and trust us, after this festival you’ll need it! This festival is 2 days and is held at Clapham Common which is on the Northern Line of the Underground. There were mentions about this festival being the biggest one yet and by all means after their line up announcement, they have certainly achieved this! The lineups include artists such as Alison Wonderland (debut), Wilkonson, Shy FX, Andy C, Champion, Dappy, James Hype and more. No wonder it has made our list of best Bank Holiday events in London 2019!
Tickets start from £55 for individual days and from £99 for an early bird!

Thames Boat Party
Location: Crown Pier in London
Dates: 24th August 2019
Time: 7:45pm until 5am (last entry is 8:15pm)
This boat party is gonna be amazing! Get ready to party from the late evening until the early hours! You’ll start at Crown Pier and party all night until you reach some of the top venues in London. It will be a 2 deck boat party with different DJ’s on both decks. Obviously only London’s best DJ’s will be performing so you can expect some good tune.
