London is an Instagrammers paradise!

While it might not be famous for its great weather, London certainly is famous for its Instagram spots. Almost every corner you turn there is something worth taking a photo of!

Now London is a huge city and it can be pretty difficult to decide which places to priorities. Luckily for you, we have created a list of the Best Instagram Spots in London

1. Notting Hill

Notting Hill has become a popular destination for many tourists. It’s most distinctive features is the beauty of the colourful pastel houses which can be found pretty much on every corner and this serves as the best backdrop to your photos. You will want to get the whole street in your photo so you will have to angle the camera accordingly.

2. The Churchill Arms

  • Location: 119 Kensington Church St, Kensington, London W8 7LN
  • Hours: 11am - 12am

The Churchill Arms is a classic English pub located in  Kensington. During the summer months, the pub becomes an enormous flower display, covered in hanging baskets and colourful planters. It’s perfect for a picture and also a fun place to go for food or a drink. To get the best pic, step outside to the other side of the street so that you can get the whole building in your picture.

3. London Eye

The London Eye is a classic tourist attraction in London and it’s easy to see why. The massive structure is simply amazing to look at. There are two options for you if you want to get a pic. You could grab a pic of the structure in its entirety or you can book a ride and get stunning pictures of the city. Also, we recommend that if you are looking to get shots of the whole structure, be sure to go to the other side of the bridge so you can get a cool photo like the one above!

4. St. Paul's Cathedral

  • Location St. Paul's Churchyard, London EC4M 8AD

St. Paul’s Cathedral is a stunning piece of architecture located in London. When taking a picture of the cathedral you want to be creative. Just like the image above, use the narrow streets to help focus your image more on the stunning structure. Again aim to get there early to avoid large crowds ruining your picture.

5. Neal's Yard, Covent Garden

This isn’t any normal yard! This is probably London’s most colourful area yet! It is a small alley in London’s Covent Garden between Shorts Gardens and Monmouth Street which opens into a courtyard.

6. Millennium Bridge

Harry Potter will recognise the Millennium Bridge and isn’t it beautiful! The structure connects both the north and south banks of the river. The metallic architecture of the bridge, combined with the rooftops of London and the dome of St Paul’s Cathedral peeking out in the distance all add to a perfect Instagram shot.

7. Kyoto Garden

This one is a bit of a hidden gem as it’s located within Holland Park and around 2 minutes from our Holland Park Hostel! This beautiful Japanese themed garden is perfect for adding a bit of nature to your Instagram account. Be sure to get the waterfall in your pictures!
