With the modern-day being focused on social media it’s important to keep your Instagram up to date with awesome pictures and there is no better place to do that than in Brussels.

1. Galeries Royales Saint-Hubert

  • Location Rue des Bouchers 5, 1000 Bruxelles, Belgium

What?

The Galeries Royales Saint-Hubert is Europe’s oldest shopping arcade. You can date its history as far back as 1847. Here you’ll find numerous jewellers, chocolate shops (it isn’t Brussels until you find some chocolate!), exclusive boutiques, restaurants and bars. There is also a small theatre/cinema.

Insta Tip!

Again early is key! You don’t want people ruining your shot to get their super early! Angle your shots low so you can get the beautiful rooftop decorations in your picture.

2. Parc du Cinquantenaire

  • Location: 1000 Brussels, Belgium

What?

The Parc du Cinquantenaire is a public park located east of the European quarter. The name is said to mean ‘Park of the fiftieth anniversary’. Its main attraction is the Triumphal Arch. It’s also a great place to relax as you can sit on the grass and watch the world go by.

Insta Tip!

Stand directly in front of the Arch and aim to get the whole arch in your shot. This will help emphasise its presence and also makes for an epic backdrop! This way you’ll be able to get a cool pic like the one above.

3. Grand Place

  • Location 1000 Brussels, Belgium

What?

The Grand Place is the central square of Brussels. It is the main tourist destination with lots to do in the area. There are a variety of restaurants you can visit with outdoor seating so you can take in the beautiful views of the Grand Place. At night there a lot of entertainment activities as bands gather to play their great music.

Insta Tip!

The best part of the Grand Place is its beautiful architecture. Aim to get this in your shots as it will give you pictures that historic look.

4. Mont des Arts

  • Location: 1000 Brussels, Belgium

What?

The Mont des Arts is an urban complex and historic site in the centre of Brussels. People gather around here to chill on sunny days, or go skateboarding or simply to watch the day go by. It also has the occasional punctual outdoor art expositions.

Insta Tip!

Aim to get there before it gets busy. You’ll be able to grab a shot where your followers can focus more on the scene rather than “photobombers”.

5. Atomium

  • Location: Square de l'Atomium, 1020 Bruxelles, Belgium

What?

The Atomium is today the most popular tourist attraction in Europe’s Capital. It stands 335-foot-tall giant iron crystal that was created for Brussel’s World Fair in 1958. You can even go inside the structure itself to get an awesome picture of the view. It’s clear to see why it’s made our list of The Most Instagrammable Spots in Brussels!

Look to get the whole structure in your picture. You can even play with your pose to make it look like you are holding one of the atoms in your hand!

6. Pannenhuis metro station

  • Location: 1020 Brussels, Belgium

What?

You wouldn’t believe it but yes this spectacular image is indeed a metro station. You don’t get many stations that look as cool and as striking as the Pannenhuis metro station. The Pannenhuis Metro Station is one of the metro stations on line 6 of the Brussels Metro. I bet you’ll be taking this line every day while you’re there just to get more and more pics of it.

Insta Tip!

Get central by sitting on the steps and have a friend step all the way back ready to capture you and the amazing rooftop architecture. It’ll be hard to get a shot when no one is there but you can usually get it empty during the super off-peak hours.

7. Le Botanique

  • Location: Rue Royale 236, 1210 Saint-Josse-ten-Noode, Belgium

What?

Le Botanique cultural complex and music venue in Saint-Josse-ten-Noode, Brussels. It used to be a botanic garden but now focuses more than ever on concerts and exhibitions of visual and contemporary art.

Insta Tip!

Those red panels are the key to a perfect picture. Get most of them in as this will give your picture that extra quality and those extra likes.

8. De Kunstberg

What?

These white trees are a very popular spot to take a great pic. They are located in the Mont des Arts.

Insta Tip!

We suggest going on an early weekday as during the weekends its very busy. Aim to position yourself at the end of the row of trees so that you can get all of them in your picture.

9. The Royal Greenhouses of Laeken

  • Location: Avenue du Parc Royal 61, 1020 Bruxelles, Belgium

What?

The Royal Greenhouses of Laeken are a complex of heated greenhouses in the park of the Royal Castle of Laeken. Normally the gardens are not open to the public. However, for 3 weeks at the beginning of Spring, the greenhouse opens to the public. This is a great opportunity to visit and grab your Insta pic.

Insta Tip!

Aim to get as much green in your picture as possible. Also, take the shot from lower on the ground so you can get the amazing rooftop in your picture.
